How a balance lifestyle prevents diseases

In Today’s  world most of us  usually get  very busy either with our work, family, children, studies, career etc. Some of us become very much dedicated towards one of these duties and forget the rest. This creates a huge imbalance in our lifestyle and therefore invites many diseases such as mental health  disorders, insomnia, indigestion, weight gain etc.

 

Ayurveda says that every person on this earth is different with different capacities of eating, thinking and doing things. This depends on their natural constitution/prakriti. Ayurveda helps us to understand our own capacity and capability of doing things.  overindulging in anything can cause imbalance in our lives. On the other hand doing less of anything can also cause the same.

 

For example, if we  start focusing on our work more and give most of our time to it. It creates imbalance in our life. We start seeing the ill effects of this habit. We suffer from insomnia or disturbed sleep as most of our mind is occupied with the stress of work. We avoid exercise and proper eating time due to the heavy load of the work and no time for our own self. Therefore, spending the  day for everything (family, work, self etc) makes life more balanced and healthy.

 

Some of the causes of lifestyle disorder are:

  1. Waking up late
  2. Working till late night
  3. No schedule to eat
  4. Eating in an unhealthy environment
  5. Multitasking
  6. Not eating according to your appetite
  7. Emotional eating
  8. Not exercising

 

Useful tips to live a balanced lifestyle:

  1. Make a plan for the day
  2. Start your day with a healthy routine.
  3. Donot start your day in a rush.
  4. Sleep on time
  5. Dedicate at Least 20 minutes to your self every day.
  6. Eat mindfully
  7. Include 30 minutes of exercise everyday
  8. Spend some part of the day with your family, friends and children
